Architecture
The Shahji Temple, also called the Tede Khambe wala Mandir because of its beautiful twisted pillars, is near Nidhivan. However, the temple’s true name is Lalit Nikunj. Inside, you can see statues of Radha and Krishna. These statues are small, so people also call them chhote Radha Raman.
The Shahji Temple in Vrindavan feels different from other lively temples nearby. It has a royal and elegant feel. Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, who also built the famous Taj Mahal, built this temple in the 16th century. Therefore, it shows beautiful Mughal building style. Picture delicate white marble designs that look like they are moving on the front of the temple. These designs have flowers and shapes on them.
