History & Architecture

The Shri Priyakantju Temple is for Lord Krishna and indeed one of the most beautiful temples built in Vrindavan in modern times. It has very beautiful statues of Lord Krishna and Radha. The Vishwa Shanti Charitable Trust established by famous Katha vyas Shri devkinandan ji thakur, took the pledge to build the Priyakant Ju temple in 2007. The first phase of temple construction started in June 2012. The Priyakant Ju Temple opened to the public on February 8, 2016.

The main idea of this temple is the loving relationship between Radha and Krishna. Here, Radharani is called Priya Ji, and Lord Krishna is called Kant Ju. Together, they bless the people who come to worship. Moreover, The temple is about 125 feet tall and looks like a lotus flower. Also, the temple is even more beautiful because of the lakes and fountains on its sides. Around the main temple, at the four corners, there are smaller temples for Lord Ganesha, Hanuman, Lord Shiva, and Lord Nimbarka.

This Radha Krishna temple in Vrindavan is right by the road above ground level. Moreover, there are ponds with pretty fountains on both sides of it. At each of the four corners, you can see small holy places for Lord Ganesh, Hanuman, and Lord Shiva. Furthermore, the temple was built using white marble from Rajasthan. This helps keep the old Indian art and building styles alive. Therefore, the Shri Priyakant ju Temple shows the lasting beauty and spiritual feelings in its design.
